This title contains raw video footage shot for the making of the documentary The Sand Island Story. Tape #51 records group at Judge Fong's court when he makes decision not to reverse state eviction plans. Tape #64 records efforts of community members to re-enter the SI community after eviction by digging through barricade. B-roll of post-eviction/bulldozing devastation. The Kalama Valley Eviction footage was made available to WV by The People's Fund in 1976 and documents an earlier eviction of a farmer from Kalama Valley prior to development by Bishop Estate.
