Hailing from University of Waikato, Professor Hirini Melbourne shares stories of singing snails and other links between Aotearoa (New Zealand) and Hawaiʻi. He is accompanied by his colleague musicologist Richard Nunns, who creates haunting sounds with stones and shells. Professor Hirini Melbourne also shares a geneaology chant.
