Interview with Rufus Edmisten, former North Carolina Secretary of State, Attorney General, and candidate for governor who has also served as deputy chief counsel for the Senate Watergate Committee. The interview was recorded on December 10, 2015 for the Daniel K. Inouye Oral History Project. Topics include how Mr. Edmisten's admiration of Senator Ervin led to working on Capitol Hill, the choosing of the Watergate Committee members by Senator Mansfield, Senator Daniel Inouye being "a cut above", what it was like working under a Senator who was on the Watergate Committee, problems with the Iran-Contra, and the differences between Watergate and Iran-Contra.
