Inouye Oral History Project. Topics include the Budget Committee's role in government and the interplay between the Appropriations Committee and the Budget Committee, Senator Inouye's role on the Defense Subcommittee, what happens when appropriation bills go to conference, Senator Inouye and Senator Stevens' relationship, his involvement with military projects, traveling to Japan and North Korea, and state and national projects that were supported by Senator Inouye.
