Interview with Ted Tsukiyama
Interview with Ted Tsukiyama recorded in Mānoa on April 10, 2015 for the Daniel K. Inouye Oral History Project. Topics include the history of the bilingual Methodist Episcopal Church that the Tsukiyama and Inouye families attended, the importance of the church in their family lives, Senator Inouye's parents, why many 442nd veterans became involved in politics, why Mr. Tsukiyama wasn't interested in a political career, and Nisei contributions to democratic society. The recording includes footage and voiceover explanation of photographs in which the Tsukiyama and Inouye families appear with their congregation.
