Hawaii Community Television

This collection contains production material and edited programs created in the 1980s for Human Services Television Network, which became Hawaii Community Television for cablecast. The community-based programming focused on significant health and social issues in Hawaii. Program titles include: Alone Together about single-parent families; Alternatives: A House or a Home about affordable housing; Break the Silence about family violence; and Everybody Grows Old about drug abuse among seniors. Extent: 96 videotapes circa 1980s - 1990s
