Reenactment of the Three-Year Swim Club swimming in Puʻunēnē ditch 8/83
This video contains footage of participants in the Puʻunēnē reunion and others gathered around the irrigation ditch where the Three-Year Swim Club began. "Youngsters" dive into the ditch and swim upstream in a reenactment of how Coach met the swimmers. Actors also play the part of the camp police chasing the youngsters away. Includes narration given to the audience on hand by Coach Sakamoto. Some adults jump in after. Recorded in August 1983.
