Interview with elder members of the ILWU during a reunion at the Union Hall recorded on August 13, 1986. Members include Joe Kaheʻe, Paul Tallet, Joe Rocha, Matsutaro "Makule" Jitchaku, and Bert Nakano joined by Chris Conybeare and Dr. William "Bill" Puette. As they talk with Conybeare and Puette they look over newspaper articles and photographs from the time of the Hilo Massacre. Topics include recreational activities for longshoremen, policemen during the Hilo Massacre, other union members, and longshoremen being a part of the National Guard.
