Interviews with Ayako Kikugawa and Tei Saito conducted by Chris Conybeare and Barbara Kawakami in Japanese with some English translations. Recorded on August 11, 1987 for the Wedding Days project. Topics include not having a house prepared when she moved to Hawaiʻi, taking care of work on the plantation, financial problems with the pineapple plantation, being angry with her husband for visiting geisha, benefits of living in Hawaiʻi, what happened to her classmates, and meeting with alumni. This interview was also used in the CLEAR Rice & Roses production Hole Hole Bushi: Songs of the Cane Field.
