Interview with Kiku Yoshida conducted by Chris Conybeare and Barbara Kawakami in Japanese with some English recorded on July 8, 1987 for the Memory Lane project. Topics include how luna treated workers; moving after her first marriage; how children were cared for while their parents were at work; when women ended up with bad husbands; children's lifestyles; learning how to sew; and an accident her son had. This interview was also used in the CLEAR Rice & Roses production Hole Hole Bushi: Songs of the Cane Field.
