Interview with Philibert Secretario recorded on June 26, 1989. Philibert Secretario performs several takes of instrumental slack key guitar songs. One song he plays is called "The Needle Song," which is played while a needle tied to a string is dangled from his mouth to create a unique sound. This tape also includes an interview with Manu Kahaialii recorded separately on the same day. Manu Kahaialii performs several takes of the medley "Ua Kea O Hana" and "Remember, Be Sure and Be There."
