Interview with Raymond Kāne at Nānākuli Beach Park in 1989. Kāne talks about "Meleana E" the first song he learned to play from his teacher Albert Kawelo. Kāne also talks about how Nānākuli was the inspiration for him writing the song "Punahele." The tape also includes several takes of Kāne playing instrumental slack key guitar.
