Interview with Clyde "Kindy" Sproat recorded on March 6, 1990. Sproat talks about his childhood and growing up in Honokane iki valley on the island of Hawaiʻi. He speaks about the harmonious melodies he remembers listening to from elders around Niuliʻi and Makapala in the Kohala district on Hawaiʻi Island. According to Sproat the people of Niuliʻi called slack key "panapana" instead of "kī hōʻalu." The video also features scenic views overlooking Pololū Valley.
