"Wela ka hao" meaning the iron is hot [now is time for fun!] (wehewehe.org). Kanahele plays "Wela ka hao" and explains the manaʻo or meaning of the song as strike while the iron is hot. He describes that the song "Pukoaniani" is another song his mother and father played.
