This video includes several takes of Eddie Kamae, Manu Kahaialii, and family and friends in two different kanikapila sessions recorded on September 6, 1992. The first is several takes of Eddie Kamae, Claybourne "Braddah Smitty" Smith, and Manu Kahaialii playing the song "Loaʻa Ko Puni Kauoha." Kahaialii's daughter Nalani and Sheldeen Haleamau (wife of Gary Haleamau) dance the two step during the song. The second part of the tape includes a kanikapila session with Braddah Smitty, Gary Haleamau, George Kuo, Aunty Lydia Hale, Eddie and Myrna Kamae, and others playing and singing the song "Pauoa Liko ka Lehua" with birds chirping in the background.
