Interview with George Winston recorded at the Bankoh Kī Hōʻalu Festival at McCoy Pavilion Ala Moana Park August 20, 1989. Known as an American pianist and founder of Dancing Cat Records, Winston plays his guitar and demonstrates his slack key talent before the festival at McCoy Pavilion begins. After he plays Eddie Kamae (off camera) and Winston have a conversation about slack key music. This video also includes the Kahumoku brothers (George and Moses) and Samson Kahumoku (Moses' son) warming up before performing at the festival. Also includes Ray Kāne in the crowd.
