Lava field and lava entering the ocean 5/7/95 tape 1
This video was recorded at Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park on May 7, 1995. After the lava stops flowing it hardens into a hard rock lava field that some see as a bare landscape. But the lava field is filled with ʻŌhia Lehua trees with the blossoms fluttering in the quiet winds at the Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park where a Native Hawaiian bird soars above. At the end of the video there is also footage of steam at the ocean created from the lava.
