Statehood Years
This program is co-production of CLEAR and the University of Hawaiʻi Oral History Project produced in 1986 by Chris Conybeare and Warren Nishimoto; written by Chris Conybeare; and directed by Joy Chong. The Statehood Years looks back at the people, issues and events that set the stage for Hawaiʻi's statehood, featuring interviews with such notables as Robert McElrath, Dan Aoki, former First Lady Beatrice Burns, David Trask, and the former Governor William F. Quinn.
