Brothers Under the Skin [dramatization]

CLEAR and PBS Hawaiʻi present Brothers Under the Skin produced in 1989 by Chris Conybeare, Joy Chong, and Joe Rossi; teleplay by Tremaine Tamayose; and directed by Tamayose and Chong. Brothers Under the Skin is a dramatization of events surrounding the August 1, 1938 "Hilo Massacre," when a group of 51 longshoremen on strike against a steamship company were fired upon by police. Originally aired on August 24, 1989.
