Interview with Clyde "Kindy" Sproat recorded on June 28, 1993. This interview focuses on the song writing of Leleiōhoku who was the younger brother of King Kalākaua, Queen Liliʻuokalani, and Princess Likelike. Sproat talks about some of the mele (songs) Leleiōhoku wrote and how much appreciation he has for Leleiōhoku and other kūpuna (ancestors) for the mele they left his generation and generations to follow. A few songs Sproat elaborates on are "Ka Naʻi Aupuni," "Maid of Honolulu," and "Kuʻu Lei Aloha."
