Interview with Clyde "Kindy" Sproat recorded on June 28, 1993 continued from title 20795. In this video Sproat explains things he learned from his grandmother; how nothing is done by accident and everything has a purpose. Sproat describes how elements of nature are important parts of how Hawaiians order their lives. He explains protocols of planting and canoe launching and protocols that come with the changing of seasons. He also talks about his grandfather Jacob William Sproat and how he ended up here in Hawaii.
