Hoʻokuʻikahi at Puʻukoholā Heiau 1991 #1

Hōkūleʻa arrives at Puʻukoholā heiau for the Hoʻokuʻikahi ceremony recorded in 1991. Hoʻokuʻikahi is a ceremony and re-enactment of the final meeting between Kamehameha I and Keōua. Includes Nā Koa formations and oli (chant); waʻa arrival; oli by Kumu John Lake; and meeting of high ranking men who are descendants of aliʻi at the shore.
