Hoʻokuʻikahi at Puʻukoholā Heiau 1991 #2
Continuation of title 22634 Hōkūleʻa arrives at Puʻukoholā heiau for the Hoʻokuʻikahi ceremony recorded in 1991. Hoʻokuʻikahi is a ceremony and re-enactment of the final meeting between Kamehameha I and Keōua. Includes Nā Koa formations and oli; waʻa arrival; oli (chant) by Kumu John Lake; and meeting of high ranking men who are descendants of aliʻi at the shore. Nā koa and aliʻi move up the hill towards the heiau with oli given by several people including Sam Kaʻai.
