Hoʻokuʻikahi at Puʻukoholā Heiau 1991 #6

Continuation of title 22723, Hōkūleʻa arrives at Puʻukoholā heiau for the Hoʻokuʻikahi ceremony recorded in 1991. Hoʻokuʻikahi is a ceremony and re-enactment of the final meeting between Kamehameha I and Keōua. Groups, including a group from Molokaʻi and representatives from the south Pacific, give hoʻokupu. Men place hoʻokupu on the lele (altar) as chanting continues by Kumu John Lake.
