Interview with Claybourne "Braddah Smitty" Smith recorded at a cottage in Waimea on November 16, 1995 for the documentary "The History of the Sons of Hawaiʻi." Topics include: respect he learned from his grandmother Agnes Waikoloa; his interests in music and what got him interested in the guitar. Braddah Smitty also shares several intimate stories. One about his mama (grandmother) and his tūtū kane (grandfather), who were two very important influences in his life. He also talks about playing for the enjoyment of others "stuff money can't buy" which gives him chicken skin and makes him proud to be Hawaiian.
