Interview with Pekelo Cosma at Bailey House Museum 7/2/96 tape 2

Interview with Pekelo Cosma recorded on February 26, 1996 at Bailey House Museum for the documentary "The History of the Sons of Hawaiʻi." In this interview Cosma shares his inspirations for playing music. His first inspiration was at the age of five, when an old blind Hawaiian man named "Tutu Apaʻa" Albert Kapunanui would play his slack-key guitar in his room. Another one of his inspirations was Gabby Pahinui, who came to Hana for the Hoʻolauleʻa ʻOhana now known as the Aloha Week Festival.
