Bankoh and Bishop Museum : The Best of Treasures Volume 8
In celebration of Bishop Museum's 100th anniversary, Bank of Hawaiʻi and Bishop Museum present "The Best of Treasures" hosted by Brickwood Galuteria. This program spotlights Bishop Museum's audio collections of Hawaiian language and chants dating back from the 1920s. Bishop Museum's vast record collection can also be accessed from the archives. Includes an interview with Elizabeth Tatar, Chair of Anthropology Department. Also, celebrated singer and master storyteller Clyde "Kindy" Sproat shares his childhood memories of growing up in Honokāne Iki and his inspirations from the waters of Pololu Valley and his North Kohala home. Includes interview with Cheri Sproat.
