Footage recorded in 1956 includes different views of a young man dressed as an aliʻi (chief) wearing mahiole (helmet), ʻahuʻula (feather cloak), lei niho palaoa (whale-tooth pendant only worn by aliʻi), malo (loincloth), and holding an ihe (spear). This footage is from Bishop Museum accession number 1937.0203.
