Interview with Motono Haraguchi, William Haraguchi (Motono's son), Rodney Haraguchi (Motono's grandson) and Karol Haraguchi recorded on April 26, 1988 conducted by Chris Conybeare at the Haraguchi rice mill for Rice Mill Days. The interview focuses on Motono Haraguchi arriving in Hawaiʻi from Japan in 1918 when she was 15; getting married at 18; her job duties cooking for 25-30 workers; rice planting; killing chickens and pigs to eat.
