Holo Mai Pele Act 4

Hālau o Kekuhi's performance of Holo Mai Pele under the direction of Kumu Pualani Kanakaʻole Kanahele and Kumu Nālani Kanakaʻole. In this fourth act, Hiʻiaka, Wahineʻomaʻo, and Lohiʻau embark on their travel back to the island of Hawaiʻi. As they stop on Oʻahu, they participate in the kilu courtship game, where Hiʻiaka becomes attracted to Lohiʻau. Hiʻiaka has a vision about Pele breaking her promise to protect Hiʻiaka's beloved friend, Hopoe, and her lehua forest.
