Pau Hana Years : Grandmother's Trunk Project
Interview with John Takasaki of the Multicultural Center of the Hawaii Foundation for History and the Humanities conducted by Bob Barker at the Hawaiʻi Public Television studio for the program Pau Hana Years. Takasaki talks about the Grandmother's Trunk Project. Barker also interviews the grandmothers as they show the contents of their trunks: Myrtle Young for the Chinese trunk, Jane Nishimoto for the Japanese trunk, and Sarah Yang for the Korean trunk. Phil Mayer of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin also reads his column, "Much Ado About Something."
