Pau Hana Years : Hawaiʻi's Smallest Landmark

In this episode of Pau Hana Years Bob Barker visits Kapiʻolani Park to see the restoration work of the bus shelter (formerly electric trolley stop) by retired carpenters from the Kaimuki Senior Citizens Club, in collaboration with the Mayor's Historic Buildings Task Force and the City and County of Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation. The crew returns a few weeks later for the dedication ceremony and celebration with speeches and Japanese folk dance. Interviews include D. Seeley, retired deputy director of Parks and Recreation, Ron Durand of Parks and Recreation, journalist Nancy Bannick, Takeo Isoshima of the Kaimuki Senior Citizens Club, and architect Geoffrey Fairfax. Reverend Richard Y. Wong of Kaumakapili Church leads the pule.
