Pau Hana Years : Bob Carr and His Love for the Sea; 1981

Interview with Bob Carr conducted by Charlotte Simmons and recorded in 1981 at the Amfac Marine Drydock Yard for the program Pau Hana Years. Carr shows Sirius, a wide shallow draft sailing vessel that he built. He also talks about his travel ambitions, inspired by Captain Joshua Slocum's solo circumnavigation in the late 19th century. Carr takes Simmons on a cruise off the shores of Oʻahu.
