Interview with hula dancer Tootsie Notley Steer recorded on January 27, 1977 and conducted by Charlotte Simmons at the Hawaiʻi Public Television studio for the program Pau Hana Years. Steer talks about her early years performing as part of the Royal Hawaiian Girls Glee Club, unofficially greeting for Matson and Pan American passengers and modeling for Matson ads. She also discusses her family, community work, and education, entering college at 58 years old. Steer dances "Mi Nei."
