Pau Hana Years : Pearl Harbor in Retrospect; 1981

In this episode of Pau Hana Years aired on December 6, 1981 Charlotte Simmons tours the Naval Station Pearl Harbor in commemoration of the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. Lt. Cmdr. Stephen Becker, Public Affairs Officer, gives an overview of the naval base, including the naval supply center, naval station, submarine base, public works center, and naval shipyard. Simmons also tours the U.S.S. Worden guided by Cmdr. William Newlon and Ensign Michael Fedder and interviews the ship's enlisted and officers, including Capt. Carl Nelson, Commanding Officer.
