Pau Hana Years : Christmas Special
Hosted by Bob Barker, this episode of Pau Hana Years celebrates the Christmas season with performances of holiday songs, many of them written by Alex Anderson [Robert Alexander Anderson], led by Charles Dant [Bud Dant] of the Association for Hawaiian Music. Musicians and performers include Charles K.L. Davis, Iwalani Kamahele, and the Maile Aloha Singers under the direction of Bob Engle [Robert Engle]. Anderson sings his own composition, "Mele Kalikimaka," with his wife, Peggy. Barney Isaacs, Norman Isaacs, Benny Kalama, Sonny Kamahele, and Pua Kamahele are Dant's bandmembers. Martha Carroll dances hula.
