Interview with Arthur Goodfriend, Professor of American Studies at the University of Hawaiʻi, conducted by Bob Barker at the Hawaiʻi Public Television studio for the program Pau Hana Years. Goodfriend lectures on, "The American Character," using sketch drawing to illustrate his historical narration of the United States. Goodfriend covers European contact in North America and the concept of the Founding Fathers.
