Interview with Arthur Goodfriend, Professor of American Studies at the University of Hawaiʻi, recorded on May 8, 1975 and conducted by Bob Barker at the Hawaiʻi Public Television studio for the program Pau Hana Years. Using sketch drawing, Goodfriend concludes his lecture, "The American Character," covering the impact of media and money in society, and describing the zeitgeist of the American people as the United States Bicentennial approaches.
