Interview with Judson Shakakuni Brown recorded in Waimānalo on November 7, 1992 for the documentary "Hawaiian Voices: Bridging Past to Present." Brown comes from the killer whale clan of the Tlingit moiety of southeast Alaska and the Chilkat Pass. In this video Brown talks about the similarities between Native Alaskans and Kanaka ʻŌiwi (Native Hawaiians) such as culture, indigenous government systems, and the relationship between natives and the U.S. government. Other topics include petroglyphs abd matrilineal kinship systems.
