In this interview Kaholoaʻa shares life stories while in a loʻi kalo (taro patch) in Waipiʻo Valley on Hawaiʻi Island. A few stories include how in her youth they lived for today; the right time to catch ʻoʻopu (goby); how to cook hoʻiʻo (fern); and how to wrap fish using laʻi (ti leaf). Contains Kaholoaʻa talking about domestic violence she experienced. May not be suitable for young children.
