Interview with Ruth Kaholoaʻa recorded on August 17, 1992 for the documentary "Hawaiian Voices: Bridging Past to Present." Kaholoaʻa shares stories of her wā kamaliʻi (younger years) in Waimanu Valley and how her grandfather would store salted fish in dry coconut shells. Kaholoaʻa also talks about native plants and their laʻau lapaʻau (medicinal) uses.
