Interview with Kahu David Kawika Kaʻalakea recorded on May 27, 1990 for the documentary "Hawaiian Voices: Bridging Past to Present." In this video Kahu Kaʻalakea sings "Ka Makani Kāʻili Aloha," he mele kaulana no Kīpahulu (a famous song written for Kīpahulu). Kahu Kaʻalakea also explains in ōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language) the moʻolelo (story) of this song, which is also the name of the wind of Kīpahulu, Maui.
