Continued interview with Kahu David Kawika Kaʻalakea from title 24903 and recorded on May 27, 1990 for the documentary "Hawaiian Voices: Bridging Past to Present." In this interview Kahu Kaʻalakea talks in ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language) about his time living in Kīpahulu when he worked with Luther Makekau at Hana Ranch. Part of this video is footage of Kaʻalakea conducting church services.
