Video begins with b-roll footage of Palikea stream entering into the ocean; ʻOheʻo pools, also known as Seven Sacred Pools; and burial site with headstone. In the second part of the video Kahu Kaʻalakea sits near the ʻOheʻo pools and talks in ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian language) about teachings from his kūkū wahine (grandmother) including "na ka ʻāina e mālama ana iā ʻoe, mālama ʻoe i ka āina..." (the land will take care of you, you take care of the land...); and names of the places in Kīpahulu.
