Pau Hana Years : Taro Farming on Kauai 6/13/74

In this episdoe of Pau Hana Years recorded on June 13, 1974, Bob Barker visits the Harada kalo (taro) farms in Wainiha Valley, Kauaʻi and interviews two farmers. Emily Baclayon of the Kauaʻi Committee on Aging assists Ignacio Padayhag as he talks about coming to Oʻahu and working in plantations before settling on Kauaʻi. Henry Taihook explains the process of planting and harvesting kalo (taro).
