In this episode of Pau Hana Years aired in 1981, host Charlotte Simmons visits ʻAlekoko Fishpond (Menehune Fishpond), located inland from Nāwiliwili Harbor. Simmons interviews Chasaburo Terui about pheasant feather lei at the Hanapēpē Neighborhood Center. In another segment, Chris Sabolsky, Senior Citizens Specialist of the City and County of Honolulu's Department of Parks and Recreation, introduces Yutaka Hiroshige of the Ewa Hui Aloha Senior Citizens Club. The Club hosts the 1981 Senior Citizen's Annual Valentine Dance held at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center under the theme, "Love Somebody Today."
