This subcollection contains unedited footage from the documentary King Kamehameha: A Legacy Renewed (1998-2000), a half-hour PBS special and co-production with Hawaii Arts Alliance about the Kamehameha sculpture in Kohala. The documentary tells the history of the King Kamehameha statue in Kohala, Hawaiʻi and describes the community involvement in the conservation process it went through under the supervision of Glenn Wharton.
