King Kamehameha statue restoration and "Glenn's Dilemma"
This video contains footage of a crew, which includes Glenn Wharton, restoring the Kamehameha statue in Kohala and a short called "Glenn's Dilemma." Conservators scrape and clean the base of the statue that is made of lava bricks; remove weeds and grass from the cracks between the bricks; clean and paint the statue in places where it has been chipped; repair chips in the statue. This video also contains a short film called "Glenn's Dilemma" about the restoration of the statue and its importance to the Kohala community.
