Interview with Paul and Leimomi Agrabante recorded on July 13, 1987 for the documentary "Liʻa: The Legacy of a Hawaiian Man." Paul and Leimomi sing one of Sam Liʻa Kalainaina's favorite songs titled "Lei Nani" by Charles Namahoe. Leimomi, who is Kalainaina's granddaughter, talks about playing music and peforming hula for her tūtū's 88th birthday and how he composed the song "Hawaii Kai" for her. Paul talks about childhood days spent in Waipiʻo and why Tūtū Kalainaina changed his name from Kepio to Sam Liʻa. After playing and talking story, Leimomi shows a rug Kalainaina made for her and explains the meanings of the pictures he included on the rug.
