Kalainaina wrote the song "Ka ʻElele i Wakinekona" in early 1900 after a visit from Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole on a political campaign. After they play, Kamae and Kuo talk story, Kamae passionately shares how honored he is to have been chosen to share Kalainaina's stories, music, poetry and aloha with people. The end of the video includes footage of Eddie and Myrna Kamae watching the waves roll in and the beach at Makapuʻu, Oʻahu.
